About these numbers
All of these come from OpenStreetMap, which is contributed rather than audited. The counts are a floor, not a census: a toilet nobody has mapped is missing from this page and from the map, and the only way it appears is if someone adds it.
Most sites do not record hours, fees or access. That is why those are shown as three numbers rather than a percentage of everything, reading "1,200 free" as "the rest charge" would be wrong when most of the rest simply never said. Percentages here are always taken over the sites that answered.
Step-free access is recorded as a single yes/no tag by whoever mapped it, and it is not a substitute for a verified accessibility audit.
